Were you and your boyfriend using condoms or any other form of protection? Are you on birth control pills? I would definitely recommend you take a home pregnancy test as soon as possible. How long have you been having your period (ie since you were 10 yrs old or for the past couple of months, etc.)?

If you just started you period then you might not be on a cycle yet. Meaning that yes you started your period but it could be different then your mother, you could get it every 6 or 8 weeks expecially if you are just starting your period. If you and your boyfriend are having sex the chance of pregnancy is ofcourse there. Try to not stress, becuase that can cause a period to be late. Take a home pregnancy test asap, I know you may be scared but you should talk to someone. I was young when I concieved a child and the hardest person to tell was my mother but it made things a lot easier.

Well i think that if you are this scared of being pregnant then maybe you should refrain from having sex. Getting pregnant is always a possibility and if you aren’t ready for that responsibility, then you’re not ready for sex. You have too many other things that you should work on, like school, besides going through this kind of mess. Take a test, if it is positive, be open with your mother, if it is negative, don’t have any more sex until you are old enough to know the consequences.

WOW. I am disgusted after reading some of these posts. At 12 years old I was still playing with barbie dolls!! 12 year olds should NOT be having sex. Your body is not mature enough, nor mature enough to carry a baby. I mean seriously, this is really messed up. I had my daughter at 18 years old so I can’t sit here and condemn these young girls, but there is a difference between a 12 year old having sex and a 17/18 year old having sex. Let me tell you girls, it’s HARD having a baby at a young age. I am happy that you guys would keep it because that’s taking responsibility but really, you need to refrain from sex if you’re still just a child. Yes babies are cute, but I’ll tell you what’s not cute…Getting up every few hours, constantly trying to soothe the crying baby, changing diapers, walking around for 6 weeks with a stitched up vagina, not being able to go out anymore, losing friends, giving up your teenage years! Because now you are responsible for another human being. Which means you can’t be selfish. This is a life time thing, there is no going back. That child is with you for 18 years! Now I don’t regret having my daughter because she is my world, but having her I grew up fast! It’s tough work and I can’t emphasize that enough! If you girls are curious about sex, ask your parents because it’s not all it’s cracked up to be! Especially seeing the first few times it is painful. It is def worth waiting for! Girls should be taught to save themselves, because it makes you pure and nobody can take that from you!

I am 25 years old and never been pregnant. I just want to let you girls know that there are more important things out there then having sex. Sex should be the least of your worries. Not only can you can get pregnant but you can also get a disease. I have friends that are 30 years old and older and it is still hard for them to take care of a child. There are things to look forward to in your life but if you get pregnant at an early age then you will never get to experience the great things in life, but if you are having sex never be scared to talk to your parents that way they can get you on some type of birth control and save your life by getting you tested. You don’t want to ruin your life forever for something that only last for minutes
