For me to help, I’m going to have to bombard you with questions, so bear with me. What kind of birth control was it? What brand? How long had you been taking it before stopping it? If you don’t mind me asking, why did you stop taking it?
And, some more questions :) When did your last period begin and end? How regular is your period (in other words, does it come predictably)? How many days long is your menstrual cycle? When did you have sex? Did you just have sex one day or multiple days?
Once you get back to me with answers to my zillion questions, I’ll see what I can do :)

Im taking the generic yaz. And have been for on the pill for a couple years and I stopped taking it because I hadnt gone to my yearly check up yet and got them refilled. My period is normal and My last period was like february 2 til like feb 7 and we had sex feb 17 and it was just that day, one time.
Hmmm … you have some risk of getting pregnant from that incident. It’s hard to really know how much of a risk, though. The thing with birth control (even yaz) is that sometimes it takes a little while for ovulation to resume after stopping. However, some girls ovulate very soon after stopping birth control while for others it takes a couple months. I’d say you probably are in the 10% realm of getting pregnant from that incident (hopefully less). You definitely should do a pregnancy test – probably one around March 7ish and then a second one on March 14 (assuming the first test is negative).

I was taking orth tri cyclen for a few months then I ran out. I got pregnant the same week I stopped taking the pill…Good luck dear

Urine tests on the other hand will only verify pregnancy if the hormone hCG is present at a level that is high enough to verify it. A test is considered positive when the hCG level is 5mlU/L or higher. This is why you never can tell when should I take pregnancy test with a urine test.

ok here is my problem and i really really hope u can help with my question… i was on the depo for 3 years and i havent got my shot when it was due in june and me and my boyfriend are having un protected sex on the regular we r trying. I have been off birthcontrol for a year i decided to get back on the nuva ring.. I had it in for 4 days then stopped i had protected/unprotected sex. So i took a plan b.
