Dear Scared,

When was your last time having unprotected sex? Did your period come as expected in August and September? When did you take the last pregnancy test? Do you know approximately when in September you took the last Plan B pill(s)?

Without knowing the additional date info, my initial guess is that your period delay is just caused by Plan B; however, I would need to know answers to the questions above in order to be able to help you further.

Best luck,
Hannah

Hmmm … the pregnancy tests are quite accurate – when taken as directed, of course. Sometimes it can take several months before a girl can get pregnant after quitting birth control pills. However, sometimes you can get pregnant right away after quitting birth control pills, so it can be unpredictable. It doesn’t sound like you are pregnant, and by this time of the month, a pregnancy test should be able to detect any hCG in your urine. But, if you don’t want to get pregnant right now, then I would definitely recommend you go back on birth control or, at the very least, use condoms.
