Liz (19) writes: My period is always very regular. My last period was October 20th. On November 8th, I had spotting (this has never happened to me before) and light cramping. The spotting was darker then my normal period color.
November 10th I started feeling really tired. I am usually fine on about 7 hours of sleep. The last couple weeks I have been getting about 9 and still feeling exhausted. On November 11th I started feeling nquesy, this has continued and I threw up on the 18th and 20th. I also have noticed in the last week I have felt dizzy if I stand up suddenly after kneeling or bending over.
Based on my normal cycle, my period should have started on November 17th. On the 17h, 18th and 19th I had clear mucus type discharge. I have taken three pregnancy test, (November 18th, 19th and 20th) all have been negative.
Could I be pregnant? if not any idea on what’s going on

How frequently have you had sex since your last period? Did you use a condom or are you currently on birth control pills?
If you did get pregnant then, there’s a decent chance that the level of hCG in your urine is too low still to be accurately detected by the home pregnancy tests. If your period still doesn’t come by 11/29, I’d recommend taking another pregnancy test. For best results, be sure to take it right after getting up in the morning with your urine that is concentrated.
There is a chance that something else is going on in your body, and the symptoms are ways your body is trying to get your attention. If the queasiness grows stronger or if you notice other alarming symptoms, it would be good to talk with your doctor. They can run some blood pregnancy tests which can detect levels of hCG that a typical over the counter urine based home pregnancy test cannot.
