Should We Have Used a Different Condom?

Me & My boyfriend of 3 years just had sex a while ago, But before we started he accidentally touched the tip on the condom to the head of his cock the wrong way but corrected it.

I cannot afford to be pregnant at 17 and everyone i know told me to use a different condom if this happened I’m very scared.. I’m on the birth control shot Depo.. something, I’ve been on it since October 9th I think.

:( Please help.
Alice (17)

Dear Alice,

What day did you have sex? I ask that since you mentioned you’re on Depo right now. Do you know what day your last period began and end?

Most likely, you are fine (even if Depo hasn’t fully started to cover you yet). I doubt your boyfriend had begun to ejaculate any semen before he put the condom on. And, even when touching the tip of the condom to his penis … even if there was a tiny bit of pre ejaculation fluid that got transferred from his penis to the outside of the condom … your risk for getting pregnant from that is very slim.

I wouldn’t be too worried at all, if I were you.

Cheer up :)
Hannah
