How to Calculate Your Baby's Due Date
Enter the date of your last menstrual period and the number of days in your menstrual cycle into the pregnancy calculator, and click on the Calculate button. On average, there are 28 days in a menstrual cycle, but it can last from as little as 22 to as many as 44 days.
Keep in mind that only 6% of babies are actually born on their due date. Of our three kids (all boys), our first was 9 days late, the second was 11 days early and the third was 8 days early. A due date estimation given to you by your doctor, nurse or the calculator below is exactly that - an estimate. Due to many factors (health, stress, fetal development, etc), your baby's actual arrival date will most likely not coincide with the date you expect. But it's fun to guess how close your baby will be to his or her "official date."
