Ok well on 15th i had unprotected sex again an he went in me an the was my ovulating day today is th 23rd i took a test and it had a light faint line….. Do u think im pregnant??”
It’s kind of early for a pregnancy test to be able to pick up any hCG assuming that your having sex on the 15th is what got you pregnant. Tests usually recommend to wait until the time your period should begin to take the test, and, for best accuracy, to wait until the day when your period should have ended. Some women do have higher initial hCG levels than others (or, their body starts making the hCG earlier than expected before their first period due to the timing of ovulation and implantation of the fertilized egg), and this group could have a positive read on a pregnancy test earlier than most.
Did you have your regular period around May 1st? Did you experience any spotting after taking Plan B on May 9? Are you completely sure you saw a light faint line on the pregnancy test?
Pregnancy tests rarely are faulty – as long as you accurately follow the instructions and read the test within the brief time frame specified. It is possible for a pregnancy test to have faint lines and you not be really pregnant; these lines are sometimes called evaporation lines and result from the urine evaporating and leaving a slight line behind. This could happen if you let the pregnancy test sit on the counter for a while and then look back at it. Be sure, when taking a urine pregnancy test, to look for lines within the several minutes that they specify on the instructions to avoid a false positive reading by mistakenly thinking evaporation lines are positive lines.
My recommendation would be to wait a week and then take another pregnancy test using the concentrated urine that builds up while you are sleeping. Take the test first thing in the morning. If that test comes back negative, wait another week and try again.
Best of luck,
