so I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time and we didnt use protection. And I took plan b the next day. A month later we had sex two nights in a row and used the pull out method… no condom. No birth control. No plan. I haven’t had my period. But I Had spotting a week after my plan b the first time and I haven’t had my period since. It’s been 13 days since we had sex the 2 and 3rd time. And no period. I bought 3 pregnancy tests. Should I wait a day or so? What should I do??

Dear Connedbyconcon,
The first time you had sex, Plan B was most likely effective. However, regarding the next two times, a lot depends on if your boyfriend “leaked” any sperm in you. It’s really dangerous not using a condom. A guy might think he didn’t ejaculate when he did actually have a mini-ejaculation of sorts before his official climax, when the bulk of the semen comes out. The spotting you experienced after taking Plan B was most likely what we call “withdrawal bleed” in contrast with menstruation.
If you had had your normal period over the past 2 months, what are the past 2 dates that your period should have started? When you took Plan B, you may very well have made your next period’s timing be affected (it could be late or skipped altogether). You’re still definitely at risk of having become pregnant during the two times you had sex. All we can hope is that your boyfriend really didn’t send any sperm into your body or that your body did not ovulate around the same time.
As far as the pregnancy tests, I would take one tomorrow morning with your concentrated pee (first thing when you wake up). Be sure to read the instructions for the home pregnancy test carefully before doing the test. Then, assuming that one comes back negative, take the 2nd test a week from tomorrow. Then, as long as that one is negative also, be triple safe and take the 3rd one a week following.
My best guess is that you are not pregnant. But, by taking the pregnancy tests, we can be assured. And, if there is a next time having sex with your boyfriend, don’t forget the condom! And, if it’s your boyfriend pressuring you to have sex, be a girl with guts.
Cheers,
Hannah

my lmp was on 28th july, my cycle is between 33-34, on 6th august(saturday night at around 10:30 pm) we were trying to have sex(no protection) but due to the pain i didn’t allow my bf to penetrate his organ inside though he tried twice. Not even half inch went inside. Am sure he didn’t ejaculate. To be on the safer side i took Ipill on 10th august, wednesday morning at 10:00 am. Could i be pregnant. Today 16th august i noticed a light spotting, brownish in colour. Could i be pregnant?
